Agnes M. Kuyper, aged 70, of Grandville, MI, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, April 3, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Agnes M. Miller was born September 18, 1933 in Midland Park, NJ. The fifth child of six, she had four brothers and one sister. Her life was shaped in growing up in Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, Eastern Christian School during WWII at the end of the depression.

She met Glen Kuyper from Iowa, while he was in the army serving at Fort Monmouth, NJ. They married December 3, 1954. After living for a short while in New Jersey, they moved to Rock Valley, Iowa and lived there for thirteen years where Glen was a partner in the Wayne Feed business. All of their three sons were born in Iowa. In 1966 they moved to Grandville, Michigan.

Throughout her life Agnes held a number of full time and part time jobs in banks, office, Meijer Co. and has always volunteered for church and numerous organizations, yet she always considered her main occupations as mother and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Glen; three sons and their families: Gary & Cheryl Kuyper and their children, Geoffrey, Amy, Bryan, Bethany, Derek, Jacob, Anthony; Mark & Barb Kuyper and their children Matthew, Scott, Ales; Keith & Pat Kuyper and the children Michelle and Tyler.

Private graveside services were held April 5 followed by a Memorial Service at the Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church in Grandville, MI. Condolences can be sent to Glenn at 4039 Grandview Terrace, Grandville, MI. 49418
