NICOLAAS DE ROON
Funeral services for Mr. Nicolaas De Roon of near Lebanon were held in the Lebanon Christian Reformed church Tuesday, August 18, with the Rev. Allen Arkema officiating. Burial was in the Lebanon cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. De Roon passed away early Sunday morning at his home. He had reached the age of 76 years 9 months and 21 days. De Roon was born in the Netherlands and on June 13, 1906, was united in marriage to Jennke Frings while still in the Netherlands. She preceded him in death on August 24, 1951.

Mr. De Roon leaves to mourn one son, Case, of Boyden and two daughters, Johanna (Mrs. Peter Dorhout) and Minnie (Mrs. Albert Yager). One daughter preceded.
