William Hoeder, 63, Painter, Dies Here Tuesday Morning
Funeral Rites Are 1:30 Friday
William Hoeder, 63, Sioux Center painter, and a resident of this community for nearly 50 years, died at the Sioux Center Community hospital Tuesday morning following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 16, from the First Reformed church here. The Rev. Harry Brower will officiate. Burial will be made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Co-op Funeral Service, A short service will be held at the Little Chapel preceding the service at the church.

Mr. Hoeder was born in The Netherlands December 5, 1896, the son of Gilbert H. and Helena Hoeder. He came to America as a boy and. settled with his parents in Sioux Center, On April 5, 1923, he was married to Bertha Vander Schaaf and to this union one son, Gilbert John, was born.

Survivors include his son, a Sioux Center trucker; and two brothers, Gilbert of Hampton, Ark., and John of Sioux City, His wife preceded him in death August 4, 1943. His father died August 20, 1937, and his mother on June 10, 1940. A brother, Martin, also preceded him in death,
