Chad M. Henery
Mr. Chad Henery, age 22, of Alton, passed away Sunday, November 29,1992 at the Orange City Hospital, after suffering a cardiac arrest at his residence.
Chad Micah was born January 6, 1970, at Orange City, the son of Rodney Alan and Ruth Katherine (Bell) Henery.
He was raised at Alton, where he graduated from the Floyd Valley High School in 1988. He also attended Northwest Iowa Technical College in Sheldon.
Chad is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Alton.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Faith De Jong, of Hull; his parents, Rod and Kate Henery, of Alton; three sisters and a brother, Kristin Lara Henery, Justina Ane Henery, Seth Andrew Henery, and Evalie Jean Henery, all of Alton; paternal grandparents, Earl and Alice Henery, of West Point, Nebraska; uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Alexander and Mary Justina Bell.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 2, at the Alton Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. George Toschak and the Rev. Patricia Toschak officiating. Interment followed at Nassau Township Cemetery, near Alton, under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.
