Gertrude Meyer passes on unexpectedly
Miss Gertrude Meyer, 20, died at the Oelrich hospital Tuesday afternoon following an illness of four day.
Miss Meyer was born on a farm near Sioux Center. February 13, 1919 and had spent her girl hood days in this vicinity. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geert Meyer.
She is survived by her parents, four brothers, Henry, Rishard, Gerrit and Peter all of Sioux Center, two sisters Hermina (Mrs. Lambert Hagen) of Newkirk, and Hilda (Mrs. Antony Teunnissen of Hawarden.
Funeral services will bee held Friday February 2, 1940 at 1:00 p.m. from the residence and at 1:30 p.m. from the Second Christian Reformed Church . The Reverend Mr. M. Keuning will officiate. Burial will be in the Sioux Center cemetery.
