MR. and MRS. GEERT MEYER
Double funeral services were held at Bethel Christian Reformed church of Sioux Center Thursday afternoon for Mr. and Mrs. Geert Meyer, who were instantly killed in an auto accident late Monday afternoon. Mr. Meyer was 81 and Mrs. Meyer was 74. Rev. Wesley Smedes of Orange City conducted the services -and arrangements were in charge of the Co-op Burial Assn.

Mr. and Mrs. Meyer are survived by six children, four sons, Henry of Zeeland, Mich., Gerrit. and Richard of Sioux Center and Peter of Volga, South Dakota., and two daughters, Mrs. Lambert Hagen of Hospers and Mrs. Anthony Teunissen of Le Mars. Also 31 grandchildren and Four great grandchildren. They were preceded in death by a daughter Gertrude and one granson.
She was Hendrika Van Voorst they were married Mar 8, 1905.
