Alton Democrat of Feb 17, 1900 lists the name of the child as the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Stark of Calliope. (Upon further investigation it was found that the name was Storts)

From the Hawarden Independent of Feb 15, 1900.
The little 16 month old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Storts died Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Funeral at the M. E. church Monday at 2:30 p.m.

It will be a great shock to the father when the sad news of his little daughter's death reaches him. The children having been sick for some time, were much better and seeming out of danger, when Mr. Storts started for Nebraska by team to fit up a ranch preparatory to moving there soon.

But the little girl took a relapse and constantly grew worse till death relieved her from her suffering. Little Sadie was a bright and lovable child and our hearfelt sympathy goes out to the bereaved parents in this sad hour of trouble.

(Found on ancestry.com - Eli Ensign Storts b. 15 Apr 1860 Decatur Ohio died 10 Jun 1941 Shelton Washington, his wife was Mary augusta Payne born Otst 27, 1869 IA died Jan 1, 1944 Mason county WA. Three children were indicated, two named Sadie 1898-1900 and John Lee 1896.)
