HERMAN MEYER
Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran church at Boyden, March 7, for Herman Meyer, 63, of Boyden, who died at the Sheldon hospital March 3 after a long illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. Wm. Striepe and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Meyer was born April 14, 1907,in Germany. He married Anna Bahlke and the couple farmed southwest of George for many years prior to retiring in 1965 and moving into Boyden.

Survivors Include the widow; two sons, Irvin A. of George and Vernon of Brookings, S. D.; two daughters, Mrs. Leland (Darlene) Faber and Mrs, James (Grace)Van Rennes, both of Sheldon; eight grandchildren and several brothers and sisters •
