Archibald Wallace Maynard, father to James, Robert, Nancy Maynard-Daughtery, and John, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 1995. He was the son of Lillian Elsie Wallace-Maynard and Archibald Benton Maynard. He is survived by his children, five grandchildren, one brother, Proctor Wallace Maynard and a sister, Myra Maynard. Born and raised around Hawarden, Archie taught his children and all who knew him the standards of life needed to succeed as members of humanity. He did so as much by example as by word, and always with an undying sense of humor and perspective. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 1995 at the Charlestown Retirement Community's Chapel in Catonsville, Maryland.
