JOHN OLIVER
John Oliver, 59, living three miles southwest of Hull suffered a severe heart attack and passed away within a few minutes Wednesday afternoon. Deceased was born at Pella, la., in 1878. At the age of five he moved to Alton, Iowa with his parents residing there for three years. The family then moved to Hull where Mr. Oliver lived the rest of his life.
In 1907 he was married to Maggie Kroon and they were the parents of five children namely, Nellie, Mrs. John Nyhuis; Arie; Gertrude, who died at the age of 10 years; another daughter also named Gertrude; and Dorothy the youngest child. His wife also survives him as do two brothers Tice Oliver of Hull and Arthur W. of Sioux Center.
