CHILD’S FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY.
Audrey Grotenhuis, nine year old, daughter of Will Grotenhnis, passed away early Thursday morning at the hospital in LeMars where she was taken two weeks previous for a mastoid operation. The funeral was held Saturday at the Central Ref. church, and was in charge of Rev. Haverkamp. The child was laid to rest beside her mother who passed away just ten weeks before the little daughter. Heartfelt sympathy is felt for the father and the three year olcl brother, Stanton. The little girl was very sweet and bright and in the best of health until the illness which developed into meningitis and caused her death. Her absence will be keenly felt in the J. P. Schutt home where the family have been making their home since the passing of Mrs. Grotenhuis, who was Mrs. Schut’s sister.
