Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Henning, 65, of Long Beach, Calif, formerly of Boyden passed away Monday August 8 in Long Beach. She had been in poor health for the past eight years.

Mrs. Henning nee Bertha Katherine Reyelts was born Dec. 10, 1883, in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barthoid Reyelts. and passed away August 8, l949 She came to America at the age of 4 with her parents and settled near Hull. June 10, 1911 she married Rudolph Henning who preceded her in death, Sept. 13, 1930.

She lived in Boyden until six years ago when she moved to be with her children in Long Beach. Surviving are one son Robert of Boyden and two daughters (Velma) Mrs. Clyde Kuykendall of Long Beach, and (Caroline) Mrs.. Howard Naughtin also of Long Beach. This leaves four grandchildren and two brothers, Wm. B. Reyelts of Sheldon and Herman Reyelts of Visalia, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Johanna Rehm of Cherokee, Mrs. M. A. Winter and Mrs. Gus Stegeman both of Boyden; Her parents and one .brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held August 13, at the Robert Henning residence in Boyden at 1 o'clock with Rev. Schortinghuis officiating and at 2 o'clock at St. Pauls Lutheran church at Hull with Rev. Wm. Meinen in charge.
