Lloyd Henry Mueller, 68, Maurice died Friday, Dec. 8, at the Orange City hospital following several years of ill health. Family services were held Monday, at the Mauer funeral home and at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen, with Rev. Allen Brutlag officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery, rural Ireton, under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mr. Mueller was born April 26, 1910, at rural Maurice to George H. and Lena Siege Mueller. He was their only child. He was baptized ,and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran church, rural Ireton by Rev. Carl Nuoffer and was a member of that church.

Irene Eilts and Mr. Mueller were married April 26, 1933, at the Ireton Lutheran church by pastor Nuoffer. They farmed south of Maurice until moving to Craig where Lloyd operated a machine shop for five years. He went back to farming and southeast of Ireton for 15 years. He retired and moved to Maurice in November, 1965, due to poor health.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife. Irene, Maurice; one daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Lois) Zellmer, Kingsley; two sons, George Mueller, Sioux City, and Allan Mueller, North Liberty; two daughters-in-law and a son-in law and eight grandchildren. James, Pamela, John and Penni Mueller. Lisa, Amy and Wanda Zellmer and Benjamin Mueller.
