Death of a Former resident. Lawrence Henderson Passed away in the hospital at Boulder CO.

Lawrence Henderson, a former resident of Hawarden, but who moved to Boulder CO, twenty-five years ago, passed away at 7:30 Sunday evening n a hospital at that place, Following a lingering illness. Elvie Henderson left
Sunday for Boulder but his brother passed away before he reached his bedside.
Lawrence Henderson was born in Jackson County, IA, (to I.N. Henderson and Esther Watson) and was about 60 years old at the time of his death.

He came to Sioux county with his parents in 1897 and they located on a farm southeast of Hawarden. In 1905 he moved to Colorado with his parents and he has resided there ever since. He never married. His mother preceded him in death about 12 years and his father passed away 3 years ago.

He is survived by eight brothers, Charles Henderson, who resides in the state of WA; Elvie of Alcester SD; John of Galveston TX; Rex, Glen Roy and Denton who reside in CO, and Ralph of Montvideo MN; and three sisters, Mr. Edith Hendricks, Mrs. Etta Arbethnot and Mrs. Ruth French all of whom reside in Colorado.
