From the Alton Democrat of Dec 23, 1899 Mr. and Mrs. E. Talsman and Dr. Druger attended teh funeral of Albert Roetman neat Hospers Saturday.

Also from the Sioux County Herald of same date.
The funeral of Albert Roetman was held at Newkirk on Saturday last. The Deceased leaves a wife and 4 children who have the sympathy of the community.

Found the family on ancestry.com Albert Roetman born 1861 Netherlands married to Jane Kruenen Nov 3, 1892 Alton IA. Two children listed Anna born 1895 and Maria born 1896.)
