The infant child of John Kack died Tuesday after a short illness. The little one was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery Thursday morning.
(On ancestry.com found the Kack family living in Capel Tsp. Sioux County in 1900 – John Kack born Nov 1877 Illinois, his wife was Annie Kurtenbach 1872-1958. In 1910 they were in Hammer, Yellow Medicine MN. Other children were William 1900, Edward 1903, Mary 1904, Leo 1905 and Raymond 1909. From the Sioux county death records the name of the child was John and he was 9 months old when he died.
