Funeral services for Mrs.Belle Heubrock, 85, were held Thursday, January 16, at 1:30 p.. m. at the Associated church in Hawarden, with Rev. Herbert Young officiating, Hal Shoemaker sang "In the Garden" and "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Mrs. Shoemaker as orgaist. Casket bearers were William Heubrock, Jr., Arnold Heubrock, Edward Beeck, David Beeck, Kenneth Carlson, and William Wilken.

A family prayer service was held at 12:45 at the church. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heubrock was born in rural Hawarden October 16, 1883, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Searle. She taught school in the Ireton area before her marriage on July 26, 1911, to Frank J. Heubrock. She was a member of the associated church. Mrs. Heubrock died Monday, January 13, at the Mapes Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 1961.

Her husband preceded her in death on February 13, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Searle. Survivors include one son, William Heubrock of Hawarden; four daughters, Mrs. Eilert (Ruth) Wilken of Elk Point, Mrs. Reuben (Mary) \ Turner of Le Mars, Mrs. Henry (May) Frerichs of Maurice, and Mrs. Lew (Florence) Lamb of Cotati, California; two brothers, Roy Searle of Hawarden and James Searle of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Miss Rose Searle of Hawarden; 20 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
