Funeral services for Ed Hollstern, 76, were held Monday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Richard Zenk officiating, Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery, Rock Valley.
Mr. Hollstern was born at Rock Valley July 23,1891. He died Saturday, May 11, at the
Hegg Memorial hospital after a brief illness.
He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Gordon Willson, Mrs. Bert Kessler, Mrs. Anna Murray and Miss Alberta Hollstern, all of Sioux City and Mrs., Charles Aldrich of Hammond, Mont. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
