Kelly Sybesma
Kelly Sybesma, 18,of Rock Valley, died January 5, 2000 at her residence.
Services were held Saturday at First Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Revs’. Michael Van Hamersveld and Michael Molenaar officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.
Miss Sybesma was born Sept. 21, 1981, in Seoul, Korea, the daughter of Carl and Teresa (Anderson) Sybesma. She attended school in Rock Valley and was a senior at Rock Valley High School. She was active in Pep Club, FCA Spanish Club, Annual staff and a football and basketball cheerleader. She participated in the school play her freshman year, was a peer mentor and active in vocal music.
Survivors include her parents, Carl and Teresa Sybesma; two brothers, Chad and his fiancee, Letitcha Charlson of Rock Valley; and Travis of Fort Bragg, N.C.; paternal grandfather, John Sybesma of Sioux Center; maternal grandparents, John and Ruth Anderson of Hull; and great-grandmother, Nellie Cuperus of Rock Valley.
