The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Herman died very suddenly last Wednesday morning of cholera infantum. The funeral was held from St. Mary's church Thursday morning, interment in St. Mary's cemetery. They have the sympathy of their friends in their deep sorrow.
(St. Mary's cemetery records list Joseph Herman born April 1899 died Sep 5, 1899 son of Joseph. He has to be the son of Joseph Hermann born Jul 1847 Germany lived in Nassau Tsp. Sioux county in the 1900 census with wife Elizabeth bron Dec 1861 in WI, they had been married for 2 years. No further information found.)
