Barbara Gayle Lyells, 64, years, Sioux Falls, SD, died Monday, June 13, 2011.
Lyells services were Thursday, June 16, at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD.
Burial was at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, CO.
Barbara Lyells, daughter of Lawrence and Elnora DeWild, was born Dec. 20, 1946. She attended Boyden- Hull Schools and later Sioux Valley School of Nursing. She married Lawrence
Lyells on June 21,1975. They made their home in Colorado, living a short time in the Sioux Falls, SD, area. She practiced nursing for many She also enjoyed decorating for weddings. She was active in her church and especially enjoyed working with the Martha's Kitchen group. She always was looking for ways to bless others.
Survivors include her father, Lawrence DeWild of Sheldon; five sisters, Ardis Foreman of Sheldon, Lonna and Merlyn Smeenk of Harrisburg, SD, Denice and Gary Brunsting of Centennial, CO, Carleen and Verluyn Nyhuis of Rock Rapids, and Coral and Bill Moulder of Tacoma, WA; and four brothers, Arlyn and Donna DeWild of Hull, Jarvis and Shari DeWild of Hull, Laryl and Brenda DeWild of Boyden, and Eldon and LuAnn DeWild of Hull.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lyells; and her mother, Elnora DeWild.
