Funeral services were held at the Van Etten Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon for Janus De Lint of Twin Brooks, SD, with Dr. Colenbrander officiating. Burial in Orange City Cemetery.

Mr. De Lint passed away January 27 at the Yankton hospital after being hospitalized there for 3 1/2 years. Mr. De Lint was born October 10, 1884 in the Netherlands. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Adrianus De Lint who later came to Orange City, where they lived for many years. Mr. De Lint married Ann Muilenburg of Orange City some 45 years ago. They lived at Twin Brooks, where Mrs. De Lint passed away after a few years. After 25 years Mr. De Lint remarried, and she, the widow is the sole survivor of that family.

There are four sisters and one brother, namely, Mrs. Barbara Bos of Monroe,SD; Mrs. Lane Vander Stoep of Bellflower, CA; Mrs. Henry Muilenburg of Sheldon; Miss Ann De Lint of Orange City, and Henry De Lint of Harris. One brother and five sisters preceded in death.

NOTE: His first wife may have been shown on the obituary listing as Mrs. James De Lint, she died in 1913, further investigating should be done to confirm this.
