Grace E. DeRaad, 84, of Sioux City died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at her residence following a brief illness.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Mr. Lyle Schober, Mr Brice Van Stelton and Miss Diann Newhouse officiating.
Burial will be in Logan Park' Cemetery.
Miss DeRaad was born Oct. 4, 1916 in Ireton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna (Muilenburg) DeRaad. She graduated from Ireton High School. She moved to Sioux City in 1949. She was employed as a medical secretary with Drs. Joe Krigsten, Osincup and Morgan for 28 years.
Survivors include three nephews and their wives, Ralph and Nadene DeRaad of Garretson, S.D., Duane and Barbara DeRaad of Iowa City, Iowa, and Robert and Carolyn DeRaad of Morrison, Colo.; and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin DeRaad; and five sisters, Gertrude, Winifred, Irene, Armenta and Josephine.
