From the Rock Valley Bee, January 16, 1914:

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bloem mourn the death of their youngest daughter, a little girl two years old, who died Monday, of pyaemia or infection of the blood following the measles and pneumonia. Funeral services were held Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bloem have the sympathy of many friends in their sad bereavement.
