Miss Hattie Hoogland died at the home of her brother L. Hoogland late Thursday night, after a lingering illness. She was 53 years at the time of her death. She came to America from the Netherlands about 30 years ago and lived with her parents in Sioux Center until 2 years ago when they passed away. Since that time she has been living with her brother. The funeral was held at the Protestant Chr. Ref. Church Monday afternoon; Rev. Veldman officiating.
