VerWey, Guysbertus, died 1932 age 82

Guysbertus Ver Wey, whose death was briefly mentioned in last week's Bee, passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. H. Ver Meulen, last week Thursday, Oct. 13. Mr. Ver Wey had not been well for some time and he continued to grow weaker until the final summons came.

Mr. Ver Wey was born in the Netherlands and had attained the advanced age of eighty-two years and eight months. More than half of his life was spent in his native land. He came to this country forty years ago and during that time had made his home with his sister, Mrs. H. Ver Meulen, who survives him.

Mr. Ver Wey was one of a family of four sons and two daughters. His three brothers and one sister have passed on, Mrs. Ver Meulen being the only ohe left of this family. He also leaves a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held from the First Reformed church in Rock Valley last Saturday afternoon and the remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery.
