Mrs. S. G. (Ruth) Vickerstaff, 82, of Reseda, Calif., formerly of Hawarden, died Sunday, December 28, in Canogo Park., Calif. Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Vickerstaff, the former Ruth Angle, was born May 2, 1898, in Hawarden. She was married in 1917. She lived in Hawarden, Ida Grove and Sioux City and moved to New York in 1954. Mr. Vickerstaff died Sept. 6, 1959, and she moved to California in 1960.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Jean) Smith of Woodland Hills, Calif.; a son, Hugh, of Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
