William, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Vlotho, died last Sunday morning of Bright's disease, aged eighteen years and eleven months. The young man had only been confined to his bed during this past month. He did not realize that he was so near death's door but his parents did, and everything that medical science and skill could do was employed in his behalf but to no avail and swiftly the death angel came and cut off the young life and carried his soul to that better place where there is no parting. The parents and friends are heartbroken. The funeral occured Tuesday from St. John's church east of town, Rev. C. D. Nuoffer preaching the sermon, and a large funeral followed the remains of a favorite to their last resting place.
