MINNIE VLIEGER

Mrs. John Vlieger, 83, of Sheldon died Monday at her home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Presbyterian Church in Hospers. Dr. Stuart Schimpf will officiate. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery at Hospers.

Mrs. Vlieger, the former Minnie Van De Weerd, was born Feb, 17, 1899, in Maurice. She married John Vlieger, March 25, 1915, in Hospers. He died July 16, 1961.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Fred (Grace) Hulstein of Sheldon, Mrs. William (Theresa) Hulstein of Ashton, Mrs. Mike (Harriet) Hulstein of Fulda, Minn., and Miss Jeane of Sheldon; one son, Nelson of Hartley; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Brink and Mrs. Bertha De Graaf, both of Sanborn and Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Romberg of Paramount, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

MINNIE VLIEGER

SHELDON--Funeral services for Minnie Vlieger, 83, of Sheldon were held Friday, Feb. 4, at the Presbyterian Church, Hospers. Dr. Stuart Schimpf officiated with burial in Westside Cemetery, Hospers. Vander Ploeg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Vlieger passed away Monday, Jan. 31, at Community Memorial Hospital, Sheldon.

Minnie Van De Weerd, daughter of Guysbert and Anna (De Kruif) Van De Weerd, was born Feb. 17, 1899, at Maurice. She married John Vlieger on March 25, 1915. Mr. Vlieger passed away on July 16, 1961.

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Fred (Grace) Hulstein, Sheldon; Mrs. William (Theresa) Hulstein, Ashton; Mrs. Mike (Harriet) Hulstein, Fulda, MN; Jeane, of Sheldon; one son, Nelson, of Hartley; three sisters: Mrs. Jennie Brink, Sanborn; Mrs. Bertha De Graff, Sanborn; Mrs. Rose Romberg, Paramont, CA; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
