From the Alton Democrat of April 29, 1899 Hospers Happenings.
We regret to announce the death of the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. F. Duimstra, residing south of twon. The funeral services were held in the True Reformed church Tuesday afternoon. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the parents and relatives.
(Parents of the infant were Fred Duimstra b.21 Dec Dec 1877 Oosterbeirum Fr. Netherlands died 1947 buried West Lawn, wife Alberta Abbie Mulder born May 1877 died 1955. 1900 census of Lincoln Tsp they had a daughter Cobie 1 mo. Found on ancestry.com the children were - Infant 1899 died 1899, Coba 1901, Peter Fred 1902-1958, John 1906, jacob 1909, Gertrude 1911. )
