Graveside services were held Wednesday morning, October 21, 1959 at the Sioux Center Community cemetery for the stillborn child, Jay Douglas, of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Vermeer, Sioux Center.
Rev. Marion Klaaren officiated and burial was under the direction of Cooperative Funeral Home.
Besides the parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kent and Kerry, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Huisman and Mrs. Alida Vermeer
