Burial in The Memory Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, March 18, 1978.
Mr. Ted Vermeer passed away Wednesday morning in Sioux Center at his home at the age of 71 years. On March 9, 1929, at Sioux Center, he was united in marriage to Janet Bosveld who now survives. To this union five children were born:
Theo, Mrs. Gene Klimstra of Iowa City; Robert J. of Sioux Center; Janice, Mrs. Roger Beals of Montivideio, Minn.; Louis of Sandpoint, Idaho; and James A. of Sioux Center. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one brother John H. Vermeer of Orange City, and one sister Henrietta, Mrs. Art Vande Berg of Sioux Center. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters and two sisters. His passing is mourned by many friends and relatives.
