Mrs. Henrietta Van Voorst, 94, of Sioux Center died Monday in a nursing home in Hull.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Duane Tinklenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Van Voorst, the former Henrietta Schut, was born March 9, 1891, at Sioux Center. She married Bert Van Voorst Oct. 31, 1910, at Sioux Center. They made their home in South Dakota and Sioux Center. He died in 1930. In 1939 she moved to Ireton and in 1984 returned to Sioux Center. Mrs. Van Voorst was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mina Van Voorst of Sioux Center; three sons, John B. and Richard D., both of Sioux Center and Theodore of Hull; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
