Mrs. Clarence O. Bemiss,66, of Hudson, died Aug. 30 at a Minneapolis hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks. Funeral services were held on Sept. 3, at the Hudson Lutheran Church with Rev. Merlin Haugrud officiating. Burial was held at the Eden Cemetery at Hudson at Hudson.

Mrs. Bemiss, the former Leone Swenson, was born on Aug. 16, 1907 at Granite Falls, Minn. After her graduation from St. Oaf College, Northfield, Minn., she taught high school from 1930 to 1938 at Storden, Minn. and at Hudson. She married Oct 9, 1938 at Granite Falls. They lived in Hudson where both associated in the banking business until their retirement in 1952.

Survivors include the widower; one sister, Mrs. Kermit Stolen of Evanston. Ill; one brother, Herbert Swenson of Minneapolis; and three nieces.
