Albert Henning.70, a former Hawarden resident died May 8 of a heart attack at Ocala, Florida. Funeral service were held on May 10 at the Hier Funeral Home at Ocala and interment was held at Highland Memorial Park there.
Henning was a native of Columbus Wisc. He graduated from Kimball High School in South Dakota and attended Huron College. He came to Hawarden in 1933 and purchased the Sinclair gas station which was operated by J.E. Tilgner. While residing in Hawarden, he married Helen Squier in 1936 and to their marriage were born two daughters; Mrs. Ray (Carolyn) Camp and Mrs. Truman (Clarice) Dalton. They resided jere until 1945 when they moved to Sioux Falls. In 1953 the Hennings moved to Minot ND. and retired in 1968 from the Insurance business and in 1971 they moved to their present home in Ocala.
Henning is survived by his widow, two daughters, four grandchildren and three sisters. Henning was a brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. James Squier and a cousin of J.E. Tilgner
