Ellen Vermeer
Ellen Vermeer, 74, Denver, Colorado, died after a short illness in Rose Memorial Hospital, Denver.
Services were held at the First Reformed Church in Denver with the Rev. Ronald Redder officiating, on December 20, 1983.
Ellen was a teacher all her adult life, teaching in Iowa, Germany and in Denver, where she retired. After retirement she continued as a volunteer teacher, teaching Denver immigrants the English language.
She is survived by Ed R. and Andrew Vermeer and Mrs. Floyd Achterhof here in Sioux Center and Geneva Vermeer of Denver. Also many nieces and nephews.
