Word has been recieved from Mrs. Nina Haines who has been with her brother and wife Mr. and Mrs. Ted Handy at Fort Pierce, Fla., during Ted's finial illness that he passed away Friday noon May 18. Funeral services was held Monday evening with full military honors, His body was cremated

Ted L. Handy,are 72, leaves his wife , one sister, Mrs. Nina Haines of Hawarden, and two brothers in California. Ted, a former Hawarden resident has many friends here who will mourn his passing. He was a graduate of Hawarden High School.
