Fannie Haverhals, 88, of Jenison, Michigan died Friday, November 25, 2011.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11AM at Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Duane Tinklenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.
Fannie Havehals was born October 15, 1923 to Bartel and Minnie (DeJong) Boogerd in Hull, Iowa. She married Siebert P. Haverhals December 1, 1943 in Hull. The couple farmed near Lebanon until 1969, at which time they moved to Sioux Center. In 1986 they settled in Hudsonville, Michigan.
Fannie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gerald and Thelma Haverhals of Wyoming, MI, Bernard Haverhals of Kingston, Ontario Canada, Harv and Ruth Haverhals of Jenison, MI, Verna Haverhals of Grand Rapids, MI; six grandchildren: Jeremy, Tammy, Renee, Jennifer, Marc and Nathan; and one brother, Bart Boogerd of Grand Rapids, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Siebert P. Haverhals on December 5, 1993 and her daughter, Margene Haverhals.
