Mrs. Harms died on the morning of January 3rd.
(This was found in the Sioux County Cemetery index of Matlock IA, to be Mrs. Anna Harms born 2 Mar 1836 Moordorf Aurich, Niedersachsen, Germany and died 3 Jan 1899 at Matlock Iowa. According to a report on ancestry.com she was first married to Harm Albers Harms 1 Nov 1834 Leezdort Aurich Germany died 22 Oct 1865 Moordorf Germany. Anna and Harm had three children- Trientje Josten 1859, Jantjen Rolfs 1862, Hermina 1865. She then married Rolf Albers Harms (possibly a brother to Harm Albers?) Rolf Albers Harms was born 15 Sep 1832 Leezdorf Aurich Germany died after 1879 at Freeport Stephensen County IL. Anna Helena Friedrichs Meyer and Rolf Albers Harms had four children - Frederick 1872, Anna 1874, John 1878 and Harmke 1879. Anna made her latter day home at son John R. Harms of Matlock. John was married to Katherine Arends, John died Mar 2, 1953 at Shenandoah, Iowa.)
