Funeral services will be held at the Van Etten Funeral Home in Orange City this afternoon (Thursday) for Miss Kathryn DeKraay, 80, a resident of the Sioux Center Nursing Home, who died Sunday after a long illness.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Alvin Hook and burial will be made in the Orange City cemetery.

Miss DeKraay was a member of one of Sioux County's pioneer families. She was employed for many years as a government nurse, primarily in government Indian hospitals, and served at Tama, IA, Carson City, Nev., Talihina, Okla, and in Arizona.

Nieces and nephews survive.
