Funeral services were held at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church at Rock Valley at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, for Henry W. Duistermars, 86, retired electrician of Rock Valley, who died July 3, at the Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Engbers and burial was made in the Sioux Center Memory Gardens.

Mr. Duistermars was born on April 30, 1885, at Sioux Center. He married Geertje Cleveringa on February 28, 1906. She preceded him in death on July 17, 1957.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Gerrit (Kathryn) Lems of Rock Valley, Mrs. Louis (Wilma) Franken of Sioux Center, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Coats of LeMars; Mrs. Dan (Henrietta) Alons of Hospers; one son, Clarence of Portland, MI; one sister, Mrs. Herman DeVries, of Sioux Center; 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
