August De Boer
August De Boer, 78, of Zion, Ark. and, formerly of Hull, died Saturday at his home in Zion.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m, Thursday in the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev Gerald Vander Velde officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday in the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home of Hull.
Mr. De Boer was born Dec. 3, 1904 at H ull. He was raised in the Hull area and received his education there. He farmed in the Steen and Luverne, Minn. area and retired to Arkansas three years ago.
Survivors include four brothers, Dowie and Clarence, both of Hull, Gerrit of Adrian, Minn., and Gilbert of Colorado Springs, CO.; and two sisters. Mrs. Gerrit (Ellen) De Leeuw and Mrs. Andrew(Bernice) Vande Griend, both of Hull.
