Donald Duistermars, 38 years, 5 months and four days died Tuesday morning in Orange City. Services on Friday at 1:30 at the home, 2 P.M., at Trinity Church in Orange City. Burial in Sioux Center Cemetery.

He had the franchise to build the first electric light plant in Sioux Center. After a fall, which caused him to be a invalid, he sold it to the Iowa Light, Heat & Power Co. He then sold autos, had a successful jewelry business in Sioux Center. He then became an optometrist and set up his business in Orange City, where he operated this business for three years, until his death. He leaves a widow and seven children. The oldest graduated from high school this year.
