Bernard J. Van't Hul, 52, of Rock Valley, died May 12 in a hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., after a brief illness.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. in the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley on May 15. The Rev. Roger Bultman officiated. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mr. Van't Hul was born Feb. 27, 1930, at Doon. He married Alvina De Jager Dec. 6, 1950, at Rock Valley. He was in the retail feed business.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Loy and Chad, both of Rock Valley, and Brad of Vermillion, S.D.; one daughter, Mrs. Gerrit (Kay) Vis of Rock Valley; two brothers, Clarence and Gerald, both of Inwood; four sisters, Mrs. Hans (Eileen) Van Voorst and Mrs. Richard (Lucy) Van Voorst, both of Sioux Center; Mrs. Tom (Bernice) Serbick of Argyle and Mrs. John (Fanny) Westhuis of Hudsonville, Mich., and eight grandchildren.
