Sioux Center News, May 30, 1957

Funeral services were held at the Sheldon Holland Home at 1:30 P.M., Monday, May 27, for Mrs. Albert Duim, 89, former Sioux Center resident, who died at the home Friday.

Services were conducted by the Rev. J. D. De Jong and burial was made in the Sioux Center cemetery beside the grave of her late husband, who passed away in 1940. Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home of Sioux Center was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Duim was born June 19, 1867 in The Netherlands.

Survivors include a son, Henry Duim of Pipestone, MN, and a daughter, Allie, of Sheldon.

Pallbearers were John Brandenberg, Jake Jansen, Gerrit Oostralte, Albert Kuiper, Jake Solsma and John Van Der Pol.
