After a lingering illness Mrs. Henry Duim died last Friday in the Sheldon Home at the age of 70 years. Mrs. Duim was born in Odebrach, Gelderland, Netherlands, June 25, 1868. She was united in marriage to Henry Duim in the Netherlands 49 years ago and came to America with her husband at that time.

Mr. & Mrs. Henry Duim retired to the Home at Sheldon eleven years ago. She is survived by her husband Henry; a pioneer Sioux Center barber; Mr. & Mrs. Albert Duim, brother and sister in law; Aaltje Duim, a niece; and Henry Duim a nephew.

Funeral services were held at the Home in Sheldon, and the interment took place at Sioux Center. Rev. Martin Gritters, Sioux Center, and Rev. Andrew Tamminga, Rock Valley, conducted the services.
