The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Tritz, died last Sunday evening. The funeral was held from St. Mary's church in this city Tuesday monring, interment in St. Mary's cemetery. Those from a distance who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Arens, and Mr. and Mrs. Kohn Krier of near Remsen.
(This was a baby of John P. Tritz from the 1895 census of Alton, he was 38, born Jackson Co. IA . His wife was Kate "Maria C." Homan 1862-1926. Children - Mary, Sylvester, Elizabeth, Vincent, Sara, Hildegaard 1898-1898, and Edmund. Some information taken from Ancestry.com account.
