Van't Hul, Herman, 1917-1973

Herman Van't Hul, 55, of Rock Valley, died Sept. 2 at his home after a brief illness. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in First Christian Reformed Church at Hull, with the Rev. John Fondsey officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.

Mr. Van't Hul was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Inwood, Iowa. He married Edna Kleinberg on March 13, 1945, at Bellflower, Calif. Since 1958, he had been owner and operator of Van't Hul Well Drilling Co. in Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Gerald and Duane, both of Rock Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Patricia) Warntjes of Boyden, Iowa, Mrs. Edwin (Audrey) Van Maanen of Inwood, Iowa, and Mrs. Bill (Alyce) Keegan of Doon, Iowa; nine grandsons; four brothers, Burt and Gerben of Kenneth, Minn., Edward of Hull, Iowa and Albert of Edgerton, Minn., and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Velgersdyk of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Franklin Calsbeek of Seattle, Wash.
