FINAL RITES FOR MRS. B. VANT HUL AT MIDDLEBURG

Last rites for Mrs. Bart Vant Hul were held Tuesday, December 26, in the Bert Van Maanen home at Middleburg and at the Rock Valley Christian Ref. Church. Dr. H. Kuiper and Rev. A. Baker of Middleburg officiated. Interment was made in the Valley View cemetery. Mrs. Vant Hul died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Van Maanen, in December 23, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

Mrs. Vant Hul, nee Lucy De Vries, was born in Friesland, the Netherlands, and came to this country at the age of 14 years. She was married to Bart Vant Hul in April 1891, and lived in Sioux county since that time.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bert Van Maanen of Middleburg, Gerben of Hull and John, Garritt, Otto and Bert of Rock Valley, 34 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, John G. De Vries of Rock Valley and O. G. De Vries of Orange City. Her husband preceded her in death in 1945.
