From the Sioux Center News, Feb. 28, 1935:

Mrs. Van't Hul, 84, Alton, Passed Away Saturday

Mrs. Van't Hull, 84, living near Alton passed away at her home early Saturday morning. Mrs. Van't Hul had been ailing since last April. She is survived by three daughters and one son. Mrs. Herman Addink of Sioux Center is one of her daughters.

From the Alton Democrat, Jan. 18, 1935:

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Addink visited at Alton Sunday with the latter's sister, Mrs. John Lammers, and her mother, Mrs. Van't Hull, who is somewhat improved from her illness. They were accompanied home by their sister, Mrs. John Noteboom of Davis, S.D., who has been at Alton assisting in the care of her mother.

An obituary for Mrs. Herman Addink (Sioux Center News, May 17, 1973) gives her parents' names as John (Jan) Van't Hull and Aaltje Vliem, taken from the 1925 Iowa state census.
